RE/MAX expands its presence in the Caribbean and Central America.

The RE/MAX network continues to grow across the world, with the addition of five new offices in four Caribbean and Central American countries. RE/MAX currently has franchises in over 80 countries, having increased franchise revenue by nearly 30% in 2010 and outstripping all rivals.

"We're changing the way real estate is done in many of these countries," says Ricardo Cardenas, RE/MAX Latin America and Caribbean Regional Vice President. "Education and professionalism are at the heart of our business blueprint, which is why so many new offices are flocking to RE/MAX."

RE/MAX Bay Islands Broker/Owners in Roatan, Honduras, have opened a second office in West Bay. The new office has been dubbed RE/MAX Western Sunsets by Larry Schlesser and Janine Goben, and it is staffed by seasoned agents who have lived in the area for a long time. This year, Schlesser and Goben expect to double the number of employees at Western Sunsets. qatar real estate

"Tourists are returning to this region in large numbers, and many of them are potential investors," Goben says. "We expect up to a million potential clients to arrive on cruise ships this year, and we need to be prepared."
One new office has opened in Puerto Rico, and another will open in June. Enrique Morales is the Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Divine, a new RE/MAX office in greater San Juan. Sandy Ramos, the broker/owner, will open RE/MAX Real Estate Group in the heart of the island's tourist district. Rio Grande, Canovanas, Luquillo, Fajardo, and Humacao townships will be served by the office.

"The buyers we see in the Rio Grande region are second home buyers from outside of Puerto Rico," Ramos says. "They know and trust RE/MAX, and we're delighted to be able to provide them with first-class customer support."

Yenci Milano changed the name of her Panama City independent office to RE/MAX Golden Dream Realty. Milano hopes the move will improve the service her agents provide to their buyers and sellers.

"The market has started to move again, and investors from other Latin American countries, especially Venezuela, are showing a lot of interest," Milano says. "RE/MAX would increase our visibility, allowing us to better represent our increasing foreign clientele."

A new office is also set to open in Playa Dominical, in the province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica. Dave and Debra West, the new Broker/Owners, have extensive real estate experience. They're excited to assist buyers looking for properties along Costa Rica's beautiful southern Pacific coastline.

Dave West explains, "We're concentrating on the coastal area surrounding Playa Dominical and reaching to where the mountains meet the ocean." "This place is really one-of-a-kind, and it's difficult to leave after you've seen it. We'll be working hard to help families find the home of their dreams."
